Job Title: Data Analyst

The offices are situated about 6km outside Kampala city centre in Lubowa, along Entebbe. Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Uploading data into a database
  • Intuitively understanding and interpreting data collected
  • Carrying out in-depth analyses of sales and marketing data
  • Compiling and preparing reports with actionable recommendations based on sales and marketing data
  • Presenting findings in logical formats
  • Checking for incorrect information and correcting any errors introduced during the manual data entry process
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Marketing or business related field
  • At least a year’s experience in similar role is an added advantage
  • Computer literacy skills i.e. expertise with PowerPoint, MS Excel
  • Sound knowledge in analysing statistical data
  • Excellent analytical skills – ability to analyse data and find relevant conclusions
  • Communication skills – ability to write and speak clearly, easily as well as communicate complex ideas.
  • Good critical thinking skills – ability to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
  • Attention to Detail
  • Good presentation skills
  • Well organised and focused
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data
