Technology Security Officer.
Job Summary: The NSSF Fund Information Technology Security Officer will monitor
information systems to identify risk exposures and make appropriate
recommendations for risk mitigation.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • Review and assess
    inherent risks within new processes and systems
  • Monitor system security
    settings, identify & report breaches with relevant recommendations for
    risk mitigation
  • Review system security
    control to identify security gasp & recommend appropriate improvements
  • Actively coordinate IT
    Control Self-Assessment (CSA)
  • Conduct
    sensitization/training of staff on information security risk control
  • Monitor compliance with
    information security policies & procedures
  • Review the information
    security policies and procedures to ensure that they are relevant to the
    current developments in information technology
  • Scan the environment and
    identify potential risk exposures to the Fund
  • Develop appropriate tools
    for monitoring information security exposures
  • Maintain database for
    information security
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience: 
  • The candidate must hold a
    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science and at least
    first level professional qualification e.g. CISA, CISSP
  • Two or more years’ hands
    on technical experience in dealing with information technology security.
  • Excellent analytical
    skills and keenness to details
  • Deep understanding of
    computer systems configuration and application
  • Possess the ability to
    anticipate what can go wrong/potential risks
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Excellent Interpersonal
    skills
  • Good Communication skills
    (oral & written)
  • Possess the ability to
    work in teams
  • High Customer Centricity
