first time, partly trained or experienced driver. Our instructors are highly
skilled, using the unique Smart Driving / Smart Learners training products,
materials and aids, which are useful for making learning easier, enjoyable and
interactive.
At Prestige Driving School we
teach and train our learners to become the safe drivers of tomorrow. With the
backing of our competent staff, our Driving School, aims at providing the
highest level of driver training in Uganda, with the objective of equipping
learners with defensive driving capabilities.
Job Summary: The Marketing and Sales
Manager is to drive profitable business growth for PDS two profit centers –
Defensive Driving Courses and General Driving Courses (through the PDS
branches) through mainly;
  • Business planning;
  • Managing the sales pipeline;
  • Managing the sales process;
  • Negotiating and closing sales;
  • Defining marketing and support requirements and
  • Setting up and managing sales and marketing
    channels, both direct and in-direct.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Develops and Initiates all actions necessary
    and appropriate to achieve established sales and marketing department
    revenue goals and overall business revenue goals for PDS.
  • Seeks out and targets new customers and new
    sales and marketing opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and
    secure new business for PDS.
  • Drive Market Share and Revenue Performance.
  • Actively and consistently prospects and
    develops new sources of business for PDS through telephone, marketing and
    outside personal sales calls, and successfully converting potential business
    opportunities to confirmed 
    bookings.
  • Assists GM in preparation and timely submission
    of monthly Activity Report. PDS Sales and Marketing Manager
  • Assists GM in development of PDS Marketing Plan,
    Budget and Business Plan.
  • Direct and coordinate company sales and
    marketing functions and personnel involved.
  • Analyze sales statistics to determine business
    growth potential.
  • Establishes performance goals for the sales
    department, and monitors performance on a continual basis.
  • Research and develop strategies and plans which
    identify opportunities for growth.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales,
    methods, costs, and results.
  • Directly manage and coordinate client accounts.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range
    goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Oversee the planning and development of company
    marketing and communications materials.
  • Represent the company at various community
    and/or business meetings to promote the company.
  • Initiate and supervise sales trips and
    tradeshows.
  • Promote positive relations with partners and
    3rd party suppliers
  • Research competitors’ products/services.
  • Develop and conduct sales campaigns, as well as
    marketing and promotional plans.
  • Provides leadership to the day-to-day
    operations of the marketing department, while maintaining focus on the PDS
    business goals.
  • Develop overall pricing strategy to include all
    market segments and distribution channels.
  • Effectively manage and be in control of all
    inventories.
  • Share best practices and key learning’s with
    peers and management.
  • Play a lead role in the PDS weekly operation
    meetings.
  • Produce accurate forecast on weekly and monthly
    basis (+/-5%)
  • Responds to contacts for information in a
    business-like and timely manner.
  • Responds in timely manner to all leads and
    potential business opportunities for PDS.
  • Participates in sales meetings and
    brainstorming opportunities to increase sales results.
  • Maintains trace dates for business leads
    follow-up.
  • Maintains organization of office for filing of
    documents, correspondence and business records.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned to meet
    business needs.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Generating marketing campaigns for Prestige
    Driving School
  • Management of the Prestige Driving School brand
    and branches
  • Lead sales drive for Prestige Driving School
  • Coordinate with trainers to deliver excellent
    customer care to clients
