About Us:
downstream multinational company in Uganda, is seeking to recruit a suitable
candidate for an exciting and challenging senior management role.
- Guide the
implementation of the company policies in the Department. - Steer,
plan and coordinate all matters HR, Administrative, and Legal strategies
of the company. - Meet HR,
Legal, Secretarial and Insurance requirements of the company. - Oversee,
counsel, and train where appropriate, and appraise staff in the
Department. - Control
and approve expenses for the Department within limits of delegation set up
by the Managing Director. - Coordinate
implementation of management decisions relating to organising, appraising,
developing, controlling all HR and Administrative matters of the company. - Coordinate
the Sustainable Development policy and Action Plan of the Company. - Rigorously
check the payroll monthly and related provisions, deductions and
reconciliation.
- The
applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree in either Human Resource
Management, Social Sciences, Arts, Social Work and Social Administration
or related field. - At least five
years’ experience at senior management level. - Excellent
planning and organising skills - Good interpersonal
skills - Good communication
skills - Conflict
management and problem solving skills - Negotiating
skills - Computer
proficiency i.e. working knowledge of Microsoft office - Knowledge
of performance management
