Nurture Africa (Formally A-Z
Children’s Charity Uganda) is a Non-Governmental Organization operating in
Wakiso and Mubende Districts. Nurture Africa is committed to contribute towards
the Health and Development of the most Vulnerable Children in these areas of
operation through high quality education, health care, Children’s rights and
Sustainable livelihood programs enabling them to become positive influences in
Ugandan society. NA primarily targets HIV infected and affected orphans and
Vulnerable Children and works with their families holistically for sustainable
change to occur.
Job Summary: The Grants and Report
Coordinator will be responsible for funds mobilizations and the monitoring of
the management off grants in Nurture Africa.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Identify
    the funds and collaborative opportunities
  • Set up
    the communication and fundraising strategy, manage communications with
    probable donors and management updated on the progress
  • Build,
    network and collaborate with other organizations on grant writing
  • Oversee
    and maintain all full records for all donations by maintaining the
    database and paper files
  • Work with
    management and relevant staff to prepare and send out grants applications
  • Compile
    periodical reports for the Organizational donors and ensure all stake
    holders are kept up -to- date with the information.
  • Perform
    any other duties as assigned by the Country Director.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    Grants and Report Coordinator should possess a bachelor’s degree in any
    relevant field
  • Additional
    Postgraduate qualification in relevant fields is an added advantage
  • A minimum
    of 5 years work experience in an NGO setting
  • Proven
    excellent proposal writing skills
