member-driven association bringing together building and civil engineering
contractors as well as construction-related materials manufacturers and/or
suppliers to promote their mutual interest. KSK Associates is a Professional
Services Firm that provides Financial Consultancy Services including Assurance
and Business Advisory Services, Business Planning, Feasibility studies &
Project Proposal Preparation, Human Resource, Risk Management and Information
System Solutions.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop
    and maintain documented standards for procurement governance and procurement
    processes which result in value for money outcomes and minimise
    procurement risk.
  • Develop,
    maintain, monitor and update UNABCEC’s contract management and Supplier
  • management
    policies, systems and processes.
  • Develop
    and maintain organisational procurement capacity by providing training and
    support to staff with regard to procurement processes and governance;
  • Develop
    and maintain a preferred supplier database and ensure on-line information is
    available to staff;
  • Develop
    and maintain a reporting system for contractor and supplier performance;
  • Maintains
    office services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing
    payroll; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing
    and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical
    functions.
  • Provides
    historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection,
    retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
  • Maintains
    office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts,
    and equipment procurement.
  • Designs
    and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures;
    measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.
  • Completes
    operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following
    up on work results.
  • Keeps
    management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports;
    summarizing information; identifying trends as may be required by the
    Executive Director.
  • Maintains
    office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains
    office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining
    employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Maintains
    professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
    reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks;
    participating in professional societies.
  • Achieves
    financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling
    expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating^ corrective actions.
  • Contributes
    to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform
    any other duties that may be allocated to you from time to time
Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
  • The
    applicant should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with five or more years’
    proven-experience within a busy environment,
  • Experience
    managing a professional office.
  • Committed
    to Construction and real estate issues.
  • Possess
    excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Flexible
    and stress-proof; able to be “on call” as needed.
  • Ability
    to work independently while comfortable as part of both a national
    -disciplinary team.
  • Be
    an excellent team player with good interpersonal, communication and
    creative thinking skills.
