About Us:
The Provincial Secretariat of
the Church of the Province of Uganda (COU) seeks to recruit suitable persons
for the positions below. These positions require individuals who are knowledgeable
and experienced in the various fields, visionary, team workers, decision
makers, able to work under tight deadlines with minimum supervision, computer
literate and able to demonstrate a high level of integrity, professionalism,
good communication skills(oral & written) and management skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure
the production of timely and appropriate financial reporting - Ensure
that the Church of Uganda Provincial Secretariat financial management and
Accounting functions are effectively maintained and all internal controls
complied with. - Prepare
and ensure that all statutory returns are remitted in a timely manner
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- The
applicant should hold an Honors Degree in Commerce/BBA (Accounting)/Finance. - Membership to professional Accounting bodies i.e. ACCA, CPA, ICSA will be
an added advantage - Possess
at least 3-5 years work experience in Accounting field in a busy
Faith-based organization or donor working environment
