12 USAID Project No Experience Jobs – Data Entry Supervisors at Stop Malaria Project (SMP)

About SMP:
 The Uganda Stop Malaria Project (SMP) is a six-year USAID funded
initiative awarded in September 2008. The project is being implemented by a
consortium of partners led by Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of
Public Health Centre for Communication Programs (JHUCCP). The other partners
are Malaria Consortium (MC), Communication for Development Foundation Uganda
(CDFU) and Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI), Conference Services and Travel
Coordination.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receiving of the household registration
    forms from the inventory section, and distributing them to the data
    entrants
  • Verifying the records entered in the
    system (database) by each of the assigned data entrants
  • Account for all forms issued to him/her by
    the inventory section and ensure safe return of the same for storage
  • Clarification of unclear records of the
    data entrants in collaboration with the data managers
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Candidates should possess Degrees in IT,
    computer science, Statistics or related field from  recognized institutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Have leadership qualities as well as
    attention to detail
  • Exhibit strong teamwork skills in a
    complex environment
