• To train stakeholders in product
  development, value addition and quality assurance among others.
• To monitor the academic programmes of the
  school.
• To participate in the day to day
  management of the school. Develop and implement rules and regulations for
  the school.
• Develop tailor made courses in
  consultation with stakeholders to suit the needs of the dairy sub- sector.
• Participate in the development of the
  school curriculum.
• To generate and coordinate orientation
  programmes for new students.
• To participate in the evaluation of
  training material and courses.
• To ensure training materials are produced
  and periodically reviewed.
• To design and produce certificates of
  attendance.
• To design means and ways of generating
  resources to make the school run smoothly and independently.
• To develop quarterly and annual work plans
  for the school.
• Represent the school in the different
  fora. 

• All candidates should possess Bachelor’s
  Degrees in Dairy Technology, Dairy Science, Food Science Technology, or
  related qualifications from recognized institutions of higher learning.
  Post graduate qualification in a management related field.
• At least 5- years of relevant working
  experience.
• Good knowledge and skills in milk
  processing best practices,
• Quality systems and application of dairy
  standards, laws and regulations relevant to the dairy industry.
