About UNMU:
Our Client, Uganda Nurses and Midwives Union, (UNMU) was established
and registered in 2003 to represent the Nurses and Midwives in Uganda. It is
both a professional body as well as a labor organization. As a professional
organization, UNMU focuses on ensuring that the profession is practiced at the
highest possible standard. As a labor organization, UNMU spearheads efforts
geared toward improving the socio-economic welfare of Nurses and Midwives in
the country as a whole.
Job Summary: The Medical
Officer will run the clinical aspects of the Wellness Centre in accordance with
GCP principles and all applicable local requirements
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The candidate should possess a University
    Degree in MBChB or related discipline.
  • Two or more years work-experience in a
    related function.
  • The ideal candidate should have Good
    report writing skills, Ability to work independently and troubleshoot
    problems during discharge of duty, Ability to communicate effectively,
    Strong interpersonal skills, and Results-driven.
