About
UNCC:
UNCC is a semi
autonomous body established by the Act of Parliament (UNCC Act Cap.
50). It is mandated to preserve, promote and popularize Art and Culture in
Uganda. The Institution has employment vacancies to be filled by innovative,
self driven and competent candidates to be engaged on contract.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • ·        
    Manages
    the Finances of the Centre; that is, the Nommo Gallery and the National
    Theatre.
  • ·        
    Ensure
    strict adherence to the controls, policies, guidelines and UNCC Act.
  • ·        
    Provides
    administrative, logistical support and inter departmental
    coordination at the Centre
  • ·        
    Oversees
    provision of quality care, security and maintenance services at the
    Centre
  • ·        
    In
    charge of procurement plans of the Centre
  • ·        
    Manages
    the Centre’s assets inventory
  • ·        
    Manages UNCC Tenancy
    agreements
  • ·        
    In
    charge of the Human Resource Management function of the Centre
  • ·        
    Prepares management and
    statutory reports
  • ·        
    Oversee
    IT and ensure automation of key processes
  • ·        
    Manages
    External Audits engagements

Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
  • ·        
    An honours Bachelors
    degree or its equivalent in Human Resource  management,  Law,
     Public/ Business/ Financial Administration from a recognized
    Institution
  • ·        
    Post
    Graduate training in any of the above fields is required
  • ·        
    Must have
    served for at least 3 (three) years in the field of Finance and
    Administration with a reputable institution.
  • ·        
    Good financial
    literacy
  • ·        
    Leadership,
    team-building, communication and inter-personal skills
  • ·        
    Good knowledge
    of Public Procurement and Disposal
  • ·        
    Analytical
    skills
  • ·        
    High level of
    integrity
