Commonwealth Development Corporation (CDC), a UK Government owned company.

Job Summary: The Contractor Manager
will primarily be responsible for the acquisition and Management of contractors
directly engaged by Customer Services Engineering



Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing
    and hiring Contractors as required
  • Identification
    and scoping of potential outsourcing opportunities
  • Development
    and monitoring of Contracts
  • Delivery
    of services through the Customer Services Engineering Manager and Customer
    Service Engineers.     
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The
    Contractor Manager should possess a Degree in Electrical Engineering with
    5 (five) years experience of Electricity Network     distribution 
  • IT
    proficiency a requirement
  • Excellent report writing
  • Excellent
    judgment particularly with respect to Umeme standards of construction and
    delivery
  • Perceptive
    and astute in developing contracts and associated pricing and delivery
  • Self
    driven and creative
