About PPDA:
The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA) is established under the PPDA Act No.1 of 2003 to formulate policies and regulate procurement and disposal practices in respect of all procuring and disposing entities which include Central Government Ministries and Departments, Local Governments, State Enterprises, Constitutional and Statutory Bodies and Post Primary Training Institutions.
Job Summary: The Officer Compliance Monitoring will facilitate the implementation of Procurement Performance Measurement System (PPMS) in Procuring and Disposing Entities and follow-up mechanism.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review data that has been input into the PPMS by PDEs on monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Conduct physical verification of files containing PPMS data
  • Conduct hands-on-training and guide the PDU staff on data entry of contracts for a given period.
  • Compile and prepare monthly reports on data entry into the PPMS.
  • Prepare monthly reports on missing information submitted by the Entities after verification and quality assurance.
  • Analyze the data entered into the PPMS system by the Entities and prepare a draft report on the performance of the Entities.
  • File, store and retrieve all records and documents relating to the PPMS.
  • Perform any other duty as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The candidate should possess an Honours degree in Procurement, Commerce, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics or any other procurement related field from a recognized University.
  • Credits in both Math and English at O’ Level.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good communication and report writing skills
  • High standards of integrity
  • Must be computer literate
  • Willingness to travel to the different parts of the country.
  • Good interpersonal skills and team oriented individual.
