the following positions based in Kampala. Uganda.
Job
Summary: Medical
Laboratory Technologist Reporting to the Outreach Services Manager, the Medical
Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for provision of effective, efficient
quality laboratory services.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receive
    specimens for analysis and conduct tests as per client’s request;
  • Ensure
    cost-effective utilization of reagents;
  • Ensure
    all urgent and abnormal results are communicated to users;
  • Maintain
    accurate records of test;
  • Participate
    in the implementation of quality control programmes:
  • Conduct
    routine and specialized analysis of tests as per approved procedures:
  • Prepare
    timely and accurate test reports.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
  • The
    Job holders should possess a diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from
    a recognized Institution.
  • At
    least five (5) years relevant working experience and must be registered by
    the Allied Health Professional’s Council with a valid practicing license.
