Job
Summary
: The Human
Resource and Development Personnel will lead a strong and vibrant human
resource function that ensures SCI is capable of attracting, training and
retaining high quality employees who will contribute to the achievement of
SCI’s vision and objectives.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Developing
    and updating HR policies and procedures in line with acceptable labour laws,
    practices and SCI vision.
  • Managing
    the recruitment process, development and implementation of performance
    management systems in line With the SCI strategic and operational plans,
    including staff trainings.
  • Managing
    employee relations, welfare and benefits in accordance with the HR policy.
  • Preparation
    and review of employment contracts.
  • Providing
    advice and counsel on HR management principles to all departments.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
  • The
    applicant should hold a post graduate diploma in HR management. A
    bachelors degree in Human Resource or other management courses.
  • Preferably
    a member of professional HR associations
  • A
    minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in HR
    management positions.
  • Strong
    problem solving skills and making strategic decisions.
  • Ability
    to communicate effectively orally, and in writing.
  • Knowledge
    of national employment and labour laws.
