Job Summary: The Grant
Reporting Officer will be responsible for the managing and reporting on our
total grants portfolio.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Sub-Grant management:
  • Ensure all sub grantee budgets are
    effectively managed and expenditure monitored on a regular basis.
  • Manage the reporting for sub grantees
    meetings all external deadlines.
2. Budget Management:
  • Work with the finance manager to ensure
    that grant budgets are effectively managed, including regular reporting.
  • Contribute to the production of annual
    budgets/re-forecasts.
3. Financial Management:
  • Send monthly cash flow forecasts to cover
    programme activities for the next period.
  • Ensure income has been received and
    internal controls are adhered to.
  • Conduct training to country office staff,
    as required.
  • Contribute towards funding proposals.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The applicant should be either partly or
    fully qualified as an accountant, ideally studying to complete an
    accounting qualification i.e. possession of Degree in accounting, finance
    or related subject.
  • The applicant should possess at least three
    years experience of financial planning and sub grant accounting.
