run the fastest growing network of sustainably financed secondary schools in
Africa. We currently have a network of 22 schools across Uganda and Zambia,
educating around 8,000 students. PEAS has recently secured a grant from DFID as
part of the Girls Education Challenge Fund, the purpose of which is to drive
learning and results for marginalised girls. PEAS is supported by major
corporate, government and private funders and our innovative financial model is
pioneering in the field of public private partnerships in development

Job Summary: The job holder will
ensure timely and accurate accounting and processing support. Contribute to the
Finance team achieving KPI’s and other Organizational objectives, assist with
preparation of monthly management accounts, Prepares payment vouchers, Acts as
bank Agent, Custodian of petty cash and maintains petty cash records, Prepares
bank reconciliation, Manages the tiling system in the finance department.
Supports the accountant to prepare financial reports, Assists in the
preparation of the budgets, Maintains the cheques register

Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant should
possess a Bachelor Commerce/BOA accounting/finance Degree - Two years experience
in same position preferred
