Mildmay:
Mildmay Uganda is an
HIV/AIDS treatment and training centre also providing Health Systems
Strengthening to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of
Central Uganda. Situated on Entebbe Road, Lweza, south of Kampala, Mildmay
Uganda is seeking applications from experienced and motivated people interested

Job
Summary:
The Database
Administrator will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining a
Mildmay Uganda database systems and website infrastructure that is secure and
reliable, as well as provide appropriate support to different technical teams
to access and use data sources in programme implementation at Mildmay Uganda’s
main site and supported programmes
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience
:
  • The
    applicant should hold a Bachelors degree in Information Technology or
    Software Engineering
  • S/he
    must possess at least three years’ professional work experience in
    Information Technology plus 2 years experience in Database Administration.
  • The
    successful applicant will have demonstrable knowledge and understanding of
    Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access Database with Programming
    background.
  • Good
    communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency
    in various MS office packages and working knowledge of English and local
    language(s) are crucial.
  • Hard
    working, trust-worthy, and holding the highest levels of integrity and
    confidentiality.
  • Flexibility,
    reliable, able to work under pressure; and in sympathy with the Christian
    values of Mildmay Uganda.
  • Evidence
    of a non-judgemental approach in human relations is critical.
