Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as Professional/technical Head of
Registrars and Magistrates in the Courts of Judicature. - Assists in the formulation and
implementation of policies, systems and procedures for the
effective and efficient administration of justice. - Assists in providing administrative,
logistical and personnel management services to support the smooth running
of the Judiciary. - Regularly reviews the structural systems
and procedures of the Courts for purposes of achieving effectiveness and
control. - Co-ordinates and monitors activities of
the Courts. - Conducts regular physical inspections of
Courts to assess performance. - Any other duties assigned by the Chief
Justice, Deputy Chief Justice or Principal Judge.
Qualifications, Skills &
Experience: Should have worked in the Courts of Judicature for at least 3
years as a Registrar or 6 years as a Deputy Registrar.

- Appointment on full time basis for a five
(5) year term; - Other terms and conditions of service are
similar to those of a Judge of the High Court of Uganda.
