The Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation – Uganda
(Baylor-Uganda) headquartered at Mulago hospital, is a comprehensive HIV/AIDS
care and treatment organization that supports the treatment and care of HIV
infected and affected Children and Adults. Baylor – Uganda has four operational
areas; HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention services, maternal child health
services, Health Professional training and Clinical Research. Baylor-Uganda is
in receipt of UNICEF and PEPFAR grant through CDC.
Job Summary: The Administrative
Assistant will safeguard Baylor Uganda’s properties and provide administrative
support to all departments and the office of the ED once in a while in
accordance with Baylor Uganda policies and procedures.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The candidates should
    possess a Bachelor’s Degree (honors) in a business related course or any
    degree oriented towards Administration and post graduate diploma in
    management will be an added advantage
  • Three or more years
    relevant working experience in general office administration.
  • Ability to handle
    executive or high profile visitors; organize travel arrangements, hotel
    reservations, visa processing for the Executive Director, international
    visitors/partners; prepare agendas and schedules for meetings, workshops,
    events and appointments for a top manger.
  • Knowledge of computer
    literacy in programs such as micro soft outlook, micro soft word, micro
    soft excel, and micro soft power point. 
Personal Competencies: Team
and communication skills, dynamic, Persuasive &convincing, self- motivated
and able to demonstrate high initiative.
