Hospice Africa Uganda (HAU)
(national organization) has been working in Uganda since 1993 and has promoted
modern methods of pain and symptom control as well as “whole-person” (holistic)
care for patients living with cancer and HIV/AIDS. HAU strives to uphold
excellent clinical standards and provide quality education courses and advocacy
activities to promote spread of palliative care throughout Uganda and Africa.
Hospice Africa Uganda has a head office in Kampala, site offices in Mbarara and
Hoima Districts.
Job
Summary:
 The Human Resource Officer will offer technical
support for the Human Resource & Administration Director in the management
of Human Resource function with emphasis on Recruitment, induction and exit of
staff, contract terms and conditions of service, HR documentation, Performance
management, and management of staff welfare/ benefits.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
  • The
    Human Resource Officer should possess a University Degree in Human
    Resources Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences or related
    disciplines. Possession for an advanced degree/training in HR will be an added advantage.
  • A
    minimum of two years work Experience in a HR role with good knowledge of
    NGO operations.
