Terms of Reference: For UN -packing The Non-Agriculture Technology & Agribusiness Advisory Services (Non-ATAAS) Development Strategy Investment Plan (D SIP) Framework Implementation Plans (FIPS) In Uganda
Job Summary: The Expert will have the overall objective of supporting the staff of MAAIF in appraising all the Framework Implementation Plans (FIPs) in order to produce appropriate proposals for funding of the non -ATAAS DSIP. The specific objective will be to assist the thematic/commodity teams to fully un-pack the FIPs and draft project proposals which will be used by MAAIF, Development Partners and the private sector to source for funds.
Qualification, Skills & Experience:
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience of which at least 2 should have been in sub -Saharan Africa.
  • Specific knowledge of the agriculture sector
  • Proven record for delivering high quality consultancy reports on time
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills, in both spoken and written English.
