About
KCH:
Katalemwa Cheshire Home
(KCH) is a development organization established in 1970 and is committed to
rehabilitate children with disabilities between 0-18 years. KCH focuses on both
medical and social rehabilitation as well as provision of appliances/assistive
devices to clients. KCH also promotes children’s’ rights to quality education
and offers livelihood programmes to enable CWDs and their families live
independent lives.
Key
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supervises
    the financial and accounting activities in consultation with the Executive
    Director.
  • Maintains
    and enforces compliance with internal control systems.
  • Prepares
    budgets and monthly management and financial reports for KCH to guide
    heads of departments.
  • Ensures
    that relevant documents for impending audits are readily available.
  • Perform
    any other official duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Executive
    Director or his/ her designate.
 Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
  • The
    job holder should posses a bachelor’s degree in accounting, An accounting
    professional qualification e.g ACCA,CIMA,CPA will be an added advantage
  • Ability
    to work with spreadsheets at ease.
  • Navision
    software knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • At
    least three years experience in an accounting environment/job.
  • Ability
    to learn first the systems of the organization.
  • Ability
    to generate accurate and timely report very vital.
