Our client Village
Enterprise is a non-governmental organization located in Kakamega-Kenya, and
Soroti and Hoima-Uganda. Village Enterprise equips people living in extreme
poverty with resources to create sustainable businesses and is seeking to
recruit self-motivated, dynamic and results-oriented candidates for the above
role.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Help in the preparation of
    weekly, monthly, quarterly financial reports
  • Collaborate with internal
    and external auditors in completing audits
  • Give feedback on budget
    verses actual
  • Making wire requests for
    the office operations
  • Maintaining the books of
    accounts and database
  • Doing monthly
    reconciliations
  • Assist the Country Director
    and Assistant Director in making financial plans. 
Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor of Commerce-Accounting/Finance
    or BBA-Accounting from a recognized institution
  • Proficiency in computer
    applications, accounting based applications is an added advantage
  • Fresh graduates with a
    First class or 2nd Upper degree.
  • Should be ready and willing
    to be based in Soroti or Hoima.
