Please visit www.concem.net for more information on Concern Worldwide.  Concern Worldwide Uganda is recruiting six positions for a water, sanitation and hygiene project located in Pader and Agago Districts.
Job Summary: The School Environmental Health Officer and Environmental Health Officer will work to improve hygiene behaviour and sanitation coverage at the schools and communities and teach people to oversee new water/sanitation facilities in the area.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The applicant should posses a Bachelor’s degree in Public or Environmental Health or a related field.
  • Three years experience in planning and implementing environmental health interventions with an International NGO.
  • The candidates must speak Luo:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrates excellent training/facilitation skills;
  • Familiar with current standards/guidelines for WASH (including SPHERE);
  • Computer literacy (proficiency in MS Office);
  • Possess a valid riding permit with minimum Class A.
