Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Installing new /rebuilding existing servers and configuring hardware, peripherals, services, settings, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements .
· Researching and recommending innovative , and where possible ,automated approach for system administration tasks by identifying approaches that leverage our resources.
· Setting up networking infrastructure in new locations and ensure that those systems are fully functional
· Repairing and recovering from hardware or software failures by coordinating and communicating with impacted constituencies.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· Basic University degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
· Certification in CCNA, CCNP and knowledge of MAC OS and Final Cut Editing software, FTP server and multimedia is an added advantage
· Knowledge of a range of networking systems and languages including Novell, UNIX, and VMS
· Knowledge of computer network security systems, procedures, techniques and applications
· Have a thorough knowledge of iMacs and have ability to maximize their functions
