Mildmay:
Mildmay Uganda is an
HIV/AIDS treatment and training centre also providing technical support for
Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16
districts of Central Uganda. Situated on Entebbe Road, Lweza, south of Kampala.
Job
Summary:

The incumbent will support implementation of the various Human 
Resource functions  , policies  and programs  at  Mildmay
Uganda. S/he  will also  support the HR management  function
for  Mildmay Uganda ‘s  recruited health  workers  in
the  districts  of operation.

Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:


  • Bachelors Degree   in Humanities  and post graduate diploma
    in HR  Practice.
  • Experience
    in supporting HR function of outstation teams is desirable.
  • S/he
    must have demonstrable  knowledge of  computerized 
    HR  Information  systems,  employment 
    legislation  and good  communication and  interpersonal
    skills .
  • Successful
    candidate  will be  willing  to travel upcountry.
  • Good
    communication and interpersonal skills, and working knowledge of English
    and local language(s) are crucial.
  • Hard
    working, trust-worthy, and holding the highest levels of integrity and
    confidentiality.
  • Must
    be flexible, reliable, able to work under pressure; and in sympathy with
    the Christian values of Mildmay International.
  • Evidence
    of a non-judgemental approach regarding race, religion, culture, sexuality
    and lifestyle is critical.
