Job
Title: Accountant
Reports
to: Finance and Business
Planning Manager

Motorcare Uganda Limited is
a subsidiary of Kjaer Group and is the official distributor of Nissan and BMW
Vehicles in Uganda.

• Responsible
  for timely production of monthly and annual financial reports
• Ensure
  timely submission of all tax duties to the different tax authorities
• Filling
  timely submitting monthly VAT returns to the Finance Manager for approval
  and eventually to URA
• Preparation
  of financial statements and files for the external audit exercise.
• Responsible
  for provision of information to external auditors during statutory audits.
• Checking
  for accuracy while ensuring all entries are entered in the system.
• Verification
  of voucher postings as per petty cash balances on a daily basis.
• Execute
  monthly check overdues alongside credit controller particularly those
  exceeding a month and take due action after consulting with Finance
  manager.
• Ensure
  proper accountability for petty cash and replenish in time whilst
  supporting payments keenly more so to the right persons.

Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:

• The
  candidate must possess an accounting degree from a recognized Institution
  , a professional qualification in Accounting is a MUST and must have
  experience of reporting of at least three years in a profit making
  organization
• Must
  possess Financial reporting skills.
• Must
  be computer literate.
• Excellent
  communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and time
  management to beat deadlines.
• Exhibit
  professionalism and be a team player.
