Job
Summary: Provide
reliable and secure driving services and maintenance of assigned vehicle(s)
Key
Duties & Responsibilities:

  • ·        
    Ferrying
    staff out on location as workload demands.
  • ·        
    Maintain
    log book of vehicle to ensure accountable monitoring and usage of the vehicle
    pertaining to mileage, fuel consumption, repair and service, parts replacement
    in accordance with standard requirements
  • ·        
    Report
    all malfunctions or accidents timely to facilitate repair and service
  • ·        
    Ensure
    proper day-to-day operational safety and maintenance of assigned vehicle
    through timely minor repairs, arrangements for major repairs, timely changes of
    oil, check of tires, brakes and car washing
  • ·        
    Ensure
    cost-savings through proper use of vehicles through accurate maintenance of
    daily vehicle logs, and provide input in preparation of the vehicle maintenance
    plans and reports
  • ·        
    Timely
    notification of the Transport Supervisor when the vehicle is due for servicing
    and licensing.
  • ·        
    Adhering
    to any Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines that may be given to you
    by the Transport Supervisor.

Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:

  • ·        
    Valid
    Driver’s license with Class B, CM, & DL
  • ·        
    “A”
    level certificate
  • ·        
    A
    certificate in auto mechanics and defensive driving (will be an added
    advantage)
  • ·        
    5
    years driving experience
  • ·        
    Fluency
    in English language (both spoken and written)
  • ·        
    Demonstrate
    good knowledge of driving rules and regulations
  • ·        
    Consistent
    approach to work with energy with a positive and constructive attitude
  • ·        
    Ability
    to remain calm, in control and good humored even under pressure
  • ·        
    Respond
    positively to critical feedback and differing points of opinion
