About AMREF Uganda:
AMREF is the largest, indigenous health development nongovernmental organization based in Africa. We are looking for individuals who are organized, highly motivated and results-oriented to join a dynamic team to fill the following positions in the Sexual reproductive Health area.
Job Summary: To support  the field implementation of the “Youth empowerment Project” (SRHR) activities in the designated areas of Northern Uganda (Gulu,Kitgum, Pader). The project aims at increasing access to Quality Youth Friendly Services in Marginalized Communities in Northern Uganda. The project Assistant will support stakeholders involvement in the development and operationalisation of the project activities and work plans, support roll out of youth friendly initiatives and implement relevant capacity building initiatives for health workers, Youth clubs and community resource persons.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
·         Bachelor’s degree in health, social sciences, health, or closely related field.
·         At least 3 years experience managing/coordinating SRH interventions in an NGO setting
·         Experience and a good understanding of  documenting  best practices with training in Sexual Reproductive health
