About SAA/SG2000:
SAA/SG2000 is a non-profit non-governmental international organization that promotes demonstration and widespread adoption of improved pre and post-production agricultural technologies for smallholder farmers in Uganda in collaboration with relevant government institutions, farmers’ organizations and the private sector.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Operate the official vehicles for transportation of personnel or goods in discharge of duties and as directed by a Senior staff
· Ensure that servicing and maintenance of vehicles is carried out properly and efficiently on a scheduled basis
· Diagnose minor mechanical and/or electrical faults and have them repaired immediately
· Maintain all vehicles (s) under his responsibility in a neat and clean condition at all times.
· Assist staff members and visitors in completing travel formalities including the clearance of personal effects
· Any other related duties assigned.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· Must possess an Ordinary Level Certificate and a valid class A-C driving permit; with at least 5 years of proven experience.
