UNICEF Careers – Programme Officer (Field Operation and Emergency)

Duty Station: Kampala
Type and Duration of Appointment: Fixed-Term Appointment (One year with possible extension)
Organisation: United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF)
Job Purpose: Under the direct supervision of the Chief, Field Operations and Emergency, and in close collaboration with the technical sections and zonal offices, the incumbent will be responsible for the communications, monitoring and analysis of decentralized field-level activities, including trend monitoring, DevTrac analysis, reporting and capacity building.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • University degree in Social Sciences, or a related technical field.
  • Two years professional work experience in project administration, including monitoring and evaluation, communications, analysis and reporting.
  • Fluency in English is required and strong written and verbal communications skill therein strongly desirable.
