Job Title: Regional Operations Managers

Job Summary: To oversee the
planning, directing and managing of activities of the regional office.
Successful candidates will be responsible for formulation and implementation of
strategies to meet the performance goals in areas of business development, Cost
Management, portfolio quality, Customer Care and human resource management.

operations in several African countries. We are currently recruiting for the
above position for the Uganda Operations that are based in our various Regional
Offices.
Key Duties &
Responsibilities:
·        
Devises
and implements strategies to achieve monthly turnover and active client targets
for the Region.
·        
Attains
minimum collections efficiency as per Bayport policies.
·        
Identifies
staffing needs by recruitment of sales agents; mentorship; coaching of staff
and manages Performance Management.
·        
Coordinates
implementation of the regional marketing strategies for Bayport Products in
line with set targets and within Bayport Policies.
·        
Ensures
the effectiveness of internal controls in the region through implementation of company
policies and procedures.
·        
Monitors
the compliance of established policies, procedures in the respective branches
and implements timely incident reporting to determine the level of real or
potential operational risks.
·        
Develops
and maintains a good relationship with various employers and maintain excellent
Customer Care as per Bayport standards.
·        
Conducts
periodic on site branch supervision and generates reports in line with the
regional operations.
·        
Prepares
daily, weekly and monthly reports to the Area Manager and Heads of Departments,
on the overall regional business performance and progress on implementation of
strategies and action plans.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
·        
A
degree in Business or Finance from a recognized University. An MBA qualification
will be an added advantage.
·        
A
minimum of 5 years experience in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) market are
essential especially credit management, of which 3 years at Branch Manager
level or its equivalent.
·        
An
excellent command of MS Office applications.
·        
Must
be able to prepare spreadsheets.
·        
In
depth knowledge of sales techniques.
·        
In
depth knowledge of branch management systems and procedures.
·        
Excellent
oral and written communication
·        
Ability
to formulate strategies and concepts.
·        
Ability
to deliver results and meet customer expectations.
·        
Should
have an entrepreneurial and commercial mind frame.
·        
Ability
to work independently and meet strict deadlines
·        
Willingness
to work anywhere within Uganda.
