Finnish Refugee Council (FRC)
is an NGO providing adult education and community development among refugees in
Uganda since 1997 as an operational partner to OPM and UNHCR. FRC seeks to
employ Ugandans for these positions:

Key
Duties and Responsibilities:

·        
Promote
participatory development in adult learning and common interest groups.

·        
Provide
professional mentorship, training and support to local facilitators and project
staff

·        
Conduct
participatory assessment with refugee groups on their training needs

·        
Develop
participatory and community monitoring and assessment systems and planning.

·        
Supervise
a small field office with 3 professional team members and refugee staff.

Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:

·        
University
degree in Community Development / Sociology / Adult Education.

·        
Strong
experience on carrying out participatory assessments, planning and training.

·        
3
years professional community development work experience.

Starting date: March 2013

Duration of appointment: Up
to 31.12.2013 with possibility of one year extension at a time.
