Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Safety activity covering the planning, program generation and execution of Safety interventions operations in accordance with Company’s Safety and Environment standards and practices.
· Job holder will provide the interface with the site and other members of the multi disciplinary team necessary for efficient safety intervention activities.
· Establish and maintain a planned intervention program based on risk and priority planning guidance.
· Co-ordinate and enhance the intervention services by the enforcement of safety regulations and policies through periodic / permanent monitoring and control of Company safety compliance during operational activities and on company promises.
· Provide leadership to facilitate Safety and Environment Intervention programs and play an integral role in the design of training and drills for the intervention team.
· Interact with contractors and service providers to ensure a high level of performance and technical integrity on activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
· Posthigh school degree in related discipline.
· Certified in the following areas: HSE Management System, Risk Management, Fire Fighting , Emergency Response and First Aid.
· Minimum 12 years work experience in Safety Intervention specifically in the oil and gas industry of which at least 5 years experience in a fire brigade.
· Experience in oil spill operations.
· Good planning & organization skills.
