Job Summary: The Senior Officer GREAT Young Fathers and GBV Project will report to the Program Specialist GREAT Project and is responsible for providing technical support in the to Save the Children’s GBV program. Specifically in intimate Partner Violence (IPV), through interventions universally targeting Men’s Lifestyle campaigns, positive masculinity, and men’s empowerment as fathers and husbands challenging gender norms and sexual scripts that often underlie coercion and violence in relationships and to teach effective parenting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
·         A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Demography or Social Science , Development Studies or related field or equivalent accrued working experience, with skills and experience in Gender Transformative approaches , of Gender at a household community level.
·         Experience in Adolescent Sexual & Reproductive Health a plus.
·         A minimum of three years working experience in Gender transformative approaches through mentorship of young men on GBV, positive masculinity and one-on-one and group based models of GBV prevention, Sexual Reproductive Health HIV/AIDS , with an international NGO.
·         Demonstrate knowledge in the promises approach which uses three evidence-based strategies- emotion based messages word of mouth marketing and the use of influence principles to promote scalable behavior change.
