Job Title: Senior Officer Literacy Boost
Location Amuru , Uganda

Job Summary: The Senior Officer Literacy Boost is responsible for providing ongoing capacity support and coordination to the project partners and staff with project planning, implementation, quality monitoring & evaluation and reporting. The Senior Officer shall take responsibility for delivery of education programs in the districts and may be called upon as and when necessary to support the emergency team in cases of humanitarian crisis.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with teaching experience in lower primary classrooms.
· At least three years progressive experience in education program development and management with INGOs and government institutions .
· Relevant experience in Acholi language classrooms teaching and education supervision at primary level addressing children’s literacy and writing skills is desirable.
· Clear understanding of Uganda education policy and practices including thematic curriculum and universal Primary Education standard practices.
