Job Title: Network Specialist
Our client Wipro is an IT Company and is seeking to recruit result driven and motivated individuals for the Vacancy above;
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for customer to address any concerns, queries and resolving the issues on Telecom and voice network domains
·         Ensure the assigned deliverables are met with the committed SLA’s for Telecom and Voice Network
·         Ensure the escalated technical issues or concerns resolved with in defined SLA timeframe.
·         Adhere to the customer and Wipro support processes defined
·         Support projects and engineering solution
·         Participate in Wipro, Customer & partner meetings
·         Contribute to develop and manage the policies, procedures and best practices for delivering service
·         Monitors trouble ticket trends and other information relevant to resolving the issue
·         Generate Reports as per Wipro & Customer requirements
·         Perform problem management, root cause analysis and record solutions in the knowledge base.
·         Profile:
·         Perform problem analysis and provide recommendations for enhancements for Telecom and Voice Network
·         Perform gap analysis and implements steps for improving service quality
·         Extend consulting and design
·         Monitor and manage SLA’s and service quality
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
·         Knowledge on monitoring and management tools like (Cisco works, HP OV, CA Unicenter or  IBM Tivoli)
·         Conduct internal audits to check the compliance of the team.
·         Telecom experience and extensive knowledge of Service provider and voice technologies (Nortel PBX, Call Center, Call Manager, IP Telephony) and Conferencing solutions (Cisco VOIP, Polycom, Avaya and Nortel)
·         Knowledge & Experience in QOS & SIP
·         Knowledge on WAN technologies like MPLS and Data / Voice integrations
·         Nortel PBX configuration and management experience
·         Extensive experience in the design, configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco VOIP networks including Call Managers, Gateways, Gate Keepers, IP Telephony systems, Conferencing setups, messaging and voice mails solutions
·         IPSEC tunneling, QOS, Spanning Tree, VLAN configuration, VRRP, HSRP with traditional ISDN, T1-DS3, and IP address Management, Performance Management, Optimization, Documentation, and Inventory Management.
·         Generate periodic reports with the help of the tools
·         Troubleshooting the problems reported on the network devices and providing Root cause analysis
·         Provide active involvement in Meeting related to network change and install
·         Contribute to internal knowledge management system
·         Good knowledge on Telecom, Traditional voice and Voice over IP technology components
·         Design and architecting skills – Efficient designing and planning of new technologies part of Voice and Telecom solutions
·         Knowledge and experience with inter-network routing architectures, and the underlying network security technologies
·         Good problem analysis skills
·         Good Communication skills
·         Escalations and Vendor management handling skills
·         ITIL process awareness and knowledge of process flows & definitions
·         Skills on Template creation , presentation and documentation
·         Skills on Network management tools implementation
·         knowledge on Project management for assisting all Infrastructure Projects
·         Certifications:
·         CCNA + 4 Years Networking Experience AND/ OR CCNP Certification AND / OR Nortel Certification AND / OR mContact center certification
·         Hands on experience on Telecom (ISP, ISDN, PRI) solutions  and Voice Networking Technology and Products (Nortel PBX, Cisco IP Telephony solution)
·         Experience in audio, video conferencing (Cisco, Polycom)
·         Management tools – Cisco Works, Concord, Solar Winds, Cisco Unified Communication operation manager
·         Telecom Network (WAN, ISDN, PRI)
·         Voice Network Management (Nortel PBX, Cisco VOIP)
·         Audio Video Conferencing solution (Cisco, Polycom)
·         Management tools Expertise
