8 NGO Health Jobs – Clinical Officers (Safe Male Circumcision) at Baylor

Organisation: The Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation – Uganda (Baylor -Uganda)
Location: (4 Positions for West Nile and 4 Positions for Eastern)
Job Summary: Develop a strategy to implement SMC procedures while aligning SMC to health centre service programs and community related structures so as to scale up HIV AIDS prevention through safe male circumcision in line with SMC program objectives.
About Baylor Uganda: The Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation – Uganda (Baylor -Uganda) Headquartered at Mulago Hospital, is a comprehensive HIV/AIDS care and treatment organization that supports the treatment and care of HIV infected and affected Children and Adults.
Baylor-Uganda has four operational areas; HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention services, maternal child health services. Health Professional training and Clinical Research.
Baylor-Uganda is in receipt of PEPFAR grant through CDC, and is looking for knowledgeable, enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to become part of its team in Eastern, West Nile and Rwenzori region.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
·         A Diploma in Clinical medicine and community health or equivalent or equivalent from a recognized institution and must be registered with the Allied health professionals council
·         At least three years of experience in clinic or hospital-based services.
·         Experience in SMC, HIV/AIDS and ART is an added advantage
