Job Summary: To implement all project activities in the designated sub-county/ area and promote adoption of recommended education management practice in line with Government of Uganda (GoU) and World Vision Uganda (WVU) policies.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
·         Supervise and monitor construction work and compile required relevant documents ensuring quality implementation of education enhancement projects in Northern Uganda in line with the standards addressing the particular response.
·         Participate in community mobilizations, meetings and community trainings (training of SMC/PTAand school health clubs) as to ensure full participation of beneficiary communities in design, sitting and maintenance of education infrastructures.
·         Effectively network with local government structures and any other agencies undertaking activities in the target community and ensure that such activities are well integrated with World Vision Uganda and community activities to promote sustainability and ownership of interventions in planning and implementation.
·         Facilitate effective monitoring, documentation and reporting in compliance with agreed standards
·         Ensure appropriate education materials are purchased and construction process of infrastructure under the project are adhered to as stipulated in the contract agreement
·         Complete monthly work plans and monthly reports in alignment with the Humanitarian Emergency Affairs (HEA) frame work.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·         Degree in Social Work & Social Administration, Education, Development studies, or related field
·         Three years or more experience in education management programs
·         Relevant teamwork experience and good interpersonal skills
·         Good command of written English with experience in donor reporting
·         Self motivated with excellent time management skills.
·         Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities
