World Vision Jobs – Design Monitoring & Evaluation (DME) Specialist

Reports to: Regional Operations Manager

Location: Hoima, Uganda
Job Summary: To provide technical support in survey, research, project design, monitoring and evaluation and Transformation Development Indicator (TDI) measurement processes as well as developing other tools for improved quality of ministry in different World Vision Uganda supported programmes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and administer performance-monitoring tools to track program indicators in line with the program implementation plan.
  • Collect and process data on program activities as specified in the detail program implementation plan.
  • Compile progress reports for management purposes in line with the detail program implementation plan, World Vision Uganda and donor requirements.
  • Provide technical support to the program staff, beneficiaries and other stakeholders on program performance monitoring and evaluation according to program implementation plan, World Vision evaluation strategy and donor requirements.
  • Plan for and implement program impact assessments and evaluations in line with the program implementation plan, World Vision Uganda evaluation strategy and donor regulations.
  • Plan for and implement program planning, evaluation and review meetings in line with the program detail implementation plan.
  • Develop, implement and maintain program management information system in line with the program detail program implementation plan and World Vision Uganda regulation.
  • Provide technical support during proposal writing for resource mobilization in line with World Vision Uganda mission
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Health, Social Science, Statistics, Business Administration or related field.
  • Should have a minimum of five years field experience in research, management, monitoring and evaluation of community-based projects.
  • Experience with developing and delivering knowledge sharing programs.
  • Must be able to work in a team and be prepared to lead and train subordinates
  • Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
