IT Assistant- Financial Systems Support Job at Uganda National Roads Authority
Report to: Financial Accountant
Organisation: Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA)
Position Grade: SG 5
Job Summary: The job holder will be responsible for providing first level administrative, operational support of financial systems, support to users including problem resolution, product evaluation, developing, testing, rolling out of financial computer applications developed, acquired by UNRA and Training to users for such systems.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Ensures Financial systems Back up
· Fixes Data in case of data corruption
· Online trouble shooting in financial systems to all UNRA Stations and at headquarters
· Manages access levels in the Financial system
· Ensures uploading of all Stations data to the Headquarter servers via WAN
· Ensures an error- free system at all times
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The post holder must have a Diploma in Business Studies, finance, accounting or banking with practical accounting experience of at least three (3) years.
· Must have experience in Pastel set up and customization for Public and Private Financial set up.
· Certification in Pastel and working as a Pastel Technician for at least five (5) years are desirable.
