Food and Beverage Manager Job Opportunity

Our client a medical service provider  is looking to fill the position of Food And Beverage Manager.
Job Summary: A food and beverage manager oversees food preparation in the cafeteria as well as the day-to-day operation of the cafeteria. He handles a number of administrative functions, from checking budgets and food order invoices from suppliers, to training employees. He must therefore have a good working knowledge of meal preparation for both local and foreign dishes and food safety and nutrition
Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Check all areas of the cafeteria during and after service, to ensure the serving area is clean, food is well presented and replenished.
·         Ensure the Catering Manual, Policies and procedures are in place and up to date
·         Maintain standard working procedures and ensure all are carried out in accordance with the Hospital manual.
·         Ensure that all machines and equipment are kept in good working condition.
·         Ensure that regular stock takes are conducted.
·         Prepare and submit on the required format all information necessary for budgeting purposes.
·         Ensure that company and statutory hygiene standards are maintained in all areas.
·         Ensure that reports and administration requirements are submitted on time
·         Ensure that waiters are always correctly and smartly dressed, that they offer professional and courteous service to the customers.
·         Ensure that the causes of staff grievances are investigated and the appropriate action taken.
·         Perform any other duties assigned to you by your Supervisor
·         Work under stress, limited time constraints, and with frequent interruptions

·         Attend timely to customer complaints
·         To ensure the prompt and efficient service of all meals, snacks, and beverages to the required standards.
·         In-house training of staff under your supervision.
·         Team work and team building
·         Customer care for clients
Qualifications:
·         Minimum qualification of a diploma in Hotel Management
·         1-3 years experience in F&B department in a Management position.
·         Must have knowledge of food and beverage products
·         Must have refined skills in Public Relations.
·         Computer literacy is a MUST
·         Ability to meet deadlines
