Job Title: Quality Improvement (QI) Assistant
Duties & Responsibilities
S/ he will provide programmatic, administrative and organizational support functions to the QI and PI related project deliverables in Northern Uganda. An essential function of this position will be to coordinate and organize meetings/ trainings between the GOU and key stakeholders that include the following:
(1) In-service QI/PI skill building and refresher training to selected district facilities;
(2) District meetings to identity bottlenecks to implementation of QI/PI policies, procedures and guidelines, and
(3) Central and district level meetings to strengthen the effective roll-out of the national supportive supervision system in Northern Uganda.
The QI /Assistant will report to the QI Senior Technical Advisor and will oversee all financial and administrative logistics, in coordination with the project finance staff, related to meetings, training events, and other activities including arranging for training sites, transport and meals for QI activities
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· University Degree in human resources (HR), business administration, project planning and management or equivalent
· At least two years of work in HR-related projects/programs or related experience.
· Ability to write technical documents such as proposals, studies and reports.
· Ability to design, carry out and document human resources related studies
· Ability»to develop plans and budgets
· Excellent public relations skills including courteousness, tact and good verbal communications
· Proven ability to work independently and self-motivated; also work cooperatively with other office personnel
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Ability to simultaneously support a team of professionals
· Computer literacy in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
