Job Title: Driver, Kampala
For more than 50 years, the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) has been a key player in African Conservation and sustainable development. AWF is currently seeking a Driver to support its T4B Program, Uganda.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Program Finance and Administration Officer, this position will provide administrative support and driving services. These include but not limited to driving, handling routine errands, office clerical duties, and logistics. This position will be tasked with ensuring vehicle mileage logbooks are regularly filled, submitted for accounting in, ensuring that vehicles are clean, serviced on schedule and insurances are valid. The position will also provide support to the supervisor by following up on administrative matters as requested and participate in office logistical planning activities. This position will be based in Kampala, Uganda.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
The successful candidate will;
·         Have a minimum of secondary school certificate.
·         Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
·         Have a clean and valid driving license.
·         Have a mechanics certificate (an added advantage)
·         Have proven driving of 4WDs in parks and offroad.
·         Be able to operate office machinery.
·         Be willing to travel remote and sometimes harsh environment.
