Job Title: Protection Field Officer
Duty Stations: Northern Uganda, exact Location to be determined in November with monthly trips to Kampala
Working Hours: 48 hours a week

Main Responsibilities
·         Ensure the adequate implementation of the program aimed at addressing the psychosocial needs of target communities in Northern Uganda, which have been affected by the war of the LRA in particular and have remained with a high Number of persons uncounted for with a focus on facilitating memorization process
·         Networking with relevant local and regional authorities leaders and humanitarian actors within the red cross movement
Minimum Required Knowledge and Experience
·         University Degree
·         Minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar field previous experience in a psycho-social program and in relation to the missing files and would be an assets
·         Excellent knowledge of English , both written and spoken , excellent knowledge of Luo-is Mandatory, Kiswahili and any other language of the affected area by the war with LRA would be important assets
·         Excellent knowledge of the various traditions in particular Langi and Acholi and the recent history of Northern Uganda
·         Good Computer Skills
·         Valid driving License

·         Sense of responsibility and ability to take initiative and to work independently
·         Flexibility and resistance of Stress
·         Be able to travel within Northern Uganda
