Job purpose: To participate in the review and updating of assessment and certification Standards for Trades/Technical/Vocational Qualifications.
Qualifications and Work Experience
· An Honours’ degree in Education, Statistics, or/ABachelor of Science in any Technical/Vocational discipline including Engineering/Technology from a recognized Institution.
· Post graduate qualification or training in technical/vocational curriculum development OR Technical/vocation training pedagogy OR competence based education and Training from a recognized institution.
· Working experience in a recognized technical, vocational, education and training institution OR research OR curriculum development OR assessment institution or recognized organization involved in related work is an added advantage.
Duties/Responsibilities
· Participate in the review and development of Regulations and Guidelines for Assessment and accreditation of Assessment Centers.
· Participate in the identification, selection and training of Assessment facilitators and Test Item Developers.
· Participate in organizing and implementing Assessment Test Item review, development and updating programmes and initiatives.
· Liaise with relevant stakeholders in the review, development and updating Assessment Test Items.
· Participate in research on assessment tools and instruments.
· Participate in the preparation of work plans and budgets for the section.
· Participate in the preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports of the section.
· Any other duties as may be assigned by the relevant authority
