CAF Uganda (CAF U) is registered as a local organization in Uganda, dedicated to limiting suffering of HIV-impacted children and families. It provides comprehensive HIV/AIDS treatment, care and prevention services through effective programming, project design, coordination &implementation within a collaborative partnerships framework. CAF Uganda is committed to a cost-effective, innovative and sustainable model for the scale up of national HIV programs, Health Systems Strengthening and harmonization with Ministry Of Health guidelines and the Government of Uganda policy of Public Private Partnerships for Health. Inline with its vision, Children’s AIDS Fund Uganda in collaboration with affiliated care and treatment facilities presently; provides care, treatment and prevention services to over 12,000 clients and positioning to scale up access to comprehensive and integrated healthcare delivery at the following sites: Family Hope Centre Kampala (FHCK) and Family Hope Centre Jinja (FHCJ),
Kabwohe Clinical Research Centre (KCRC) and Bushenyi Medical Centre (BMC). CAF Uganda is currently looking for suitable qualified Ugandans to fill the following positions available at the CAF Uganda Head Office and treatment sites:
Reporting to the Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist will monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of the organization as well as install and configure computer systems, diagnose and solve hardware software and technical and application faults.
Job requirements:
  • A degree in computer science and/or technology or related field certifications from a recognized institution with a 3 years’ experience working in a rapidly changing environment of an NGO;
  • Proficiency with in-depth knowledge and technical support
  • experience in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications, anti-virus technologies, Computer Hardware related issues
  • Knowledge of basic network administration, and experience supporting field operations and the ability to travel occasionally;
