Job Title: Inventory Controller

Job Purpose: The position exists to maintain accurate stores information and accounts for all inventory for CAA
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Education:
· B.Com with an Accounting or Finance option, bachelors of Supplies & Procurement management and a post graduate diploma from a chartered institute of purchasing and Supply
Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in a reputable large organization 3 of which should be in management of stores
Knowledge & Skills
· Must have extensive knowledge of stores and inventory management
· Must have working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and sun- system accounting
· Must be of high integrity
Principal Accountabilities:
· Updates and maintains the stores register and ensures accurate information which includes description, date of purchase, date issued, receiving department and value
· Controls the coding and engraving of stock items for ease of identification
