The Uganda Registration Services Bureau seeks to recruit suitable qualified, competent, and experienced professionals to fill vacancies within various directorates and departments
Reports to: Senior Registration Officer
Duties:
·         Responsible for the Security Registry and custody of all the files in the Registry.
·         Maintain and safe guard files in the registry.
·         Responsible for the recording in the movement register of files and their tracking.
·         Retrieval and searches of files.
·         Supervise the Archives.
·         Quality Assurance of status of the registry and make reports.
·         Responsible for shelving and classification of files in the Registry
Qualification and Experience:
·         Honors Degree in Librarianship and Information Science.
·         Minimum experience of 5 years in records management or librarianship.
Key Outputs:
·         Security registry effectively supervised.
·         Register all files kept and accounted for.
·         Movement register maintained.
·         Shelves well labeled.
Personal Specification:
·         Computer literate, good communication skills and records keeping.
